Notes

'Ostia Antica' peony (Paeonia 'Ostia Antica') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Pink semi-double to double flowers have dark pink stripes and frilled guard petals. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The upright stems need no support, and Joshua Scholten bred it.

Pairs well with Clustered bellflower, Stargazer lily, Switchgrass, and Curly Fries hosta.
