Notes

Oyama magnolia (Magnolia sieboldii) is a multi-stemmed shrub for containers and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its fragrant white flowers show off crimson stamens. It grows slowly and can reach 10 to 15 feet tall and wide, so give it room.

Pairs well with Purple Pillar rose of sharon, Fountain grass, and Snake's head.
