Notes

Pacific anemone (Anemone multifida) is a perennial for borders, meadows, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy or chalky soil. Its finely cut leaves are covered in silver hairs. Creamy white cups with yellow centers open in early summer, and the plant blooms again in fall. Soft, pinkish seed heads follow the flowers, and bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit.

Pairs well with Red fescue, Blue bead lily, and Annual phlox.
