Notes

'Paisley Pink' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Paisley Pink') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. McCrae bred it from a seedling of 'Westerner'. Its pink Japanese flowers measure 5 inches across and open in mid to late spring and early summer. The blooms have ruffled petals around a center of yellow-edged staminodes.

Pairs well with Bellwort, Incrediball Storm Proof smooth hydrangea, Picture tulip, and Sensitive fern.
