Notes
'Papaveriflora' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Papaveriflora') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The blooms are double and white, so they stand out in a border. You can cut the flowers and bring them indoors for bouquets. Nicolas Lémon bred it.
Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, White Feather hosta, and Foxtail barley.
