Notes

'Paraplu Violet' rose of sharon (Hibiscus syriacus 'Paraplu Violet') is a shrub for borders, containers, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It blooms in early to late summer, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers. It also tolerates drought and salt. Deer tend to browse other plants first.
