Notes

'Parisienne' clematis (Clematis 'Parisienne') is a vine for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Mauve flowers with purple anthers attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Mogens Nyegaard Olesen bred it.

Pairs well with Clarence iris, Black-eyed Susan, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
