Notes

'Parsoni' Norway spruce (Picea abies 'Parsoni') is a tree for specimen use, accent, winter interest, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy soil. It stays evergreen, grows in a conical shape, and draws birds. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Its growth is rapid, so give it room to spread.

Pairs well with Balsam fir, Strawberry Sundae panicle hydrangea, and Mount Hood daffodil.
