'Party Gown' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Party Gown') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large double blooms are glistening white with the sheen of satin. They have good substance and make a distinctive show. Ernest Flint Kelsey bred it.
