Notes
'Passion Flash' peony (Paeonia 'Passion Flash') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its lilac-pink, fragrant flowers have dark red flares and attract bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Roger F. Anderson bred it, and it grows in an upright mound to 30 inches tall.
Pairs well with Earth Angel hosta, American Gold Rush black-eyed Susan, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
