Notes
'Pat Victor' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pat Victor') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The Japanese type flowers have a crinkled cup of cream petals around a lemon-yellow center. Strong stems carry the wide blooms above a dense, big-leaved bush. William Henry Krekler bred it.
Pairs well with Immortality iris, Sedge, Picture tulip, and Ostrich fern.
