Notes

'Patience Spokoyny' peony (Paeonia 'Patience Spokoyny') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large, fragrant, soft-yellow flowers have pale pink flares and fill with ruffled petals. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Professor Harald Fawkner bred it, and it stays compact at about 28 inches tall.

Pairs well with Earth Angel hosta, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Queen of Night tulip.
