Notes
'Patio Sky Blue' gentian sage (Salvia patens 'Patio Sky Blue') is a compact perennial for borders, containers, and xeriscape. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It bears light blue flowers from early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. It stays about 9 to 12 inches tall and wide, so it fits small spaces. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with Mondo grass, Vermillionaire cuphea, and Totally Tangerine dahlia.
