Notes
'Patty' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Patty') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It stays short and has small anemone or low bomb type blooms in an unusual salmon-pink. The flowers work well for cutting. Edward Auten, Jr bred it.
Pairs well with Aromatic aster, Picture tulip, and Christmas fern.
