Notes
'Pauline' reticulated iris (Iris reticulata 'Pauline') is a bulb for rock gardens, borders, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The fragrant purple flowers open in early to late spring. The falls have purple-black tips lit with yellow. It goes dormant by summer, so plant it where perennial ground covers can grow up around it.
Pairs well with Daffodil, Little brown jug, and Autumn fern.
