Notes

'Peep-o-Day' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Peep-o-Day') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The pinkish white petals surround a boss of golden stamens. It blooms early, in early to mid spring. Miss Mary Eliza Blacklock bred it.

Pairs well with Siberian squill, Pale purple coneflower, and Sedge.
