Notes

'Peewee' peony (Paeonia 'Peewee') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Bees and butterflies visit the fragrant, single flowers, which are light pink to red. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Dense blazing star, Stained Glass hosta, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
