Notes

'Peggy' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Peggy') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It blooms in early to mid spring with warm, silvery pink bomb flowers. The petals are notched and crinkled. Its stiff stems stay dwarf and dainty, so the plant looks neat in the garden.

Pairs well with Siberian squill, Switchgrass, and Spotted joe-pye weed.
