Notes
'Penny All Season Mix' viola (Viola cornuta 'Penny All Season Mix') is an annual for borders, containers, and cottage gardens. It is typically grown as an annual. It ranks among the more cold-hardy annuals, and with some winter protection it keeps growing through light freezes. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms all season long with fragrant violet flowers that attract butterflies, bees, and birds. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.
Pairs well with Foam flower, California poppy, and Snake's head.
