Notes

'Peppermint Patti' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Peppermint Patti') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The semi-double white flowers have red streaks and flares and a slight fragrance. They open in early to mid spring on sturdy stems about 30 inches tall. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Grape hyacinth, Dalmatian bellflower, and Kentucky bluegrass.
