Notes

'Perle Blanche' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Perle Blanche') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Auguste Dessert bred it. Large white single blooms open in mid spring and hold golden yellow stamens at the center. Stiff, erect stems carry the flowers, so they stay upright in the garden.

Pairs well with Gooseneck loosestrife, Prairie dropseed, and Ostrich fern.
