Notes

'Picotee' peony (Paeonia 'Picotee') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Milk-white petals have rounded edges rimmed in deep bright pink, and the stems are crimson. The fragrant blooms attract butterflies and bees on plants only 2 feet tall.

Pairs well with Pale purple coneflower, Nodding onion, and Fire and Ice hosta.
