Notes

'Pillow Talk' forest gardenia (Gardenia jasminoides 'Pillow Talk') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The dense, evergreen shrub grows 30 to 42 inches tall at a moderate pace. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Its fragrant blooms open in spring and again in summer, and bees visit them.

Pairs well with Society garlic, Purple top, and Common holly.
