Notes

'Pink Diamond' firecracker flower (Dichelostemma ida-maia 'Pink Diamond') is a bulb for borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy or clay soil. Narrow, grass-like leaves carry stems topped with clusters of deep pink, light pink, and white tubular flowers. Hummingbirds and butterflies visit the blooms. Keep the bulbs dry when they are dormant.

Pairs well with Casa Blanca lily, Rock rose, and Goldenrod.
