Notes
'Pink Parasol Surprise' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pink Parasol Surprise') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Roy G. Klehm bred it. The peach and pink blooms are fragrant and open early, and the center tufts of petals look like little parasols. Stems are sturdy and reach about 30 inches tall.
Pairs well with Rose, Garlic chives, Blue sage, and Kentucky bluegrass.
