Notes

'Pink Parasols' spirea (Spiraea fritschiana 'Pink Parasols') is a shrub for hedges and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It grows fast into a broad mound, and pink flowers open from early to late spring and again in early summer. Butterflies visit the blooms. Deer tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Susan magnolia, Greig's tulip, and Gardenia peony.
