Notes

Spirea (Spiraea fritschiana) is a shrub for hedges and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. White flowers open from spring into early summer and attract butterflies. It sits low on the menu for deer. Give it room to spread.

Pairs well with Mock orange, Blue fescue, and Grape hyacinth.
