Notes

'Pink Solange' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pink Solange') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows tall and upright, with large, strong growth. The double blooms are a deep pink, and the buds and flowers look much like those of Solange. Edward Auten, Jr bred it.

Pairs well with Royal Standard hosta, Prairie dropseed, and Christmas fern.
