Notes

'Pink Sprite' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pink Sprite') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Edward Auten, Jr bred it in 1954. It bears single pink blooms in an unusual and ethereal shade. The medium size flowers open in mid to late spring on a medium size plant.

Pairs well with Coralbells, Spanish bluebell, and Sensitive fern.
