Notes

'Pink Sweet Pea' peony (Paeonia 'Pink Sweet Pea') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, seashell-pink flowers have three rows of rounded, cupped guard petals, and bees and butterflies visit them. Roy G. Klehm bred it. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with August Moon hosta, Smooth hydrangea, Black Parrot tulip, and Sedge.
