Notes

'Pink Vanguard' peony (Paeonia 'Pink Vanguard') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The light pink, fragrant, semi-double flowers open in spring and age to lighter pink, and side buds extend the bloom time. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. William J. Seidl bred it.

Pairs well with Curly Fries hosta, Sedge, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Phantom panicle hydrangea.
