Notes

'Pinkie' magnolia (Magnolia 'Pinkie') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, privacy screens, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows about 10 to 15 feet tall and stays evergreen. Fragrant flowers open from early to late spring and draw butterflies, bees, and birds.

Pairs well with Lily of the valley, Silver Edge Japanese pachysandra, and Excelsior Spanish bluebell.
