Notes

'Pitti Sinn' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pitti Sinn') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double pink blooms open in late spring. Pink guard petals frame a row of yellowish petaloids, and a pink tuft in the center gives the flower height. Judge Laurence A. Vories bred it, and the plant is strong.

Pairs well with Iris, Tiger lily, and Ostrich fern.
