Notes

'PJM Elite' rhododendron (Rhododendron 'PJM Elite') is a shrub for borders, hedges, specimen planting, and woodland gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It has a dense, rounded habit with small evergreen leaves. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Hummingbirds and bees visit the flowers, and you can prune it right after it blooms.

Pairs well with Mountain laurel, Jack Frost Siberian bugloss, Siebold's hosta, and Witch hazel.
