Notes
'Percy Wiseman' rhododendron (Rhododendron 'Percy Wiseman') is a shrub for specimen plantings, borders, shade gardens, and woodland edges. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Peach-yellow flowers open in early to late spring and fade to soft cream, and bees visit the blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Acid soil suits it best.
Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Coralbells, and Oakleaf hydrangea.
