Notes

'P.J.M. Elite' rhododendron (Rhododendron 'P.J.M. Elite') is a shrub for borders, specimens, hedges, and woodland gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Lavender-pink flowers open from early to late spring and draw hummingbirds, bees, and birds. It is evergreen, so the leaves stay on the plant all year. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Royal Star star magnolia, Western sword fern, and Red trillium.
