Notes

'Plainsman' peony (Paeonia 'Plainsman') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Its fragrant, soft white blooms reach 6 inches across and have yellow centers. Plants stand about 30 inches tall and bloom freely. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Pale purple coneflower, Fire and Ice hosta, and Nodding onion.
