Notes

'Planet Max' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Planet Max') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the fragrant blooms. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything. Drought and salt are no trouble for it once it settles in.

Pairs well with Moonshine yarrow, Sunrise coneflower, Lady's mantle, and Baby's breath.
