Notes

'Plymouth' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Plymouth') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double blooms open light pink and age to white, with a small petal ball deep in the open center. They have an excellent fragrance and last well in a vase. Edward Auten, Jr bred it.

Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Black Hero tulip, and Ageratum.
