Notes

'Po Vakarėlio' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Po Vakarėlio') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant double flowers are pale purple with darker pink-purple spots. They open in early to late spring and face outward. The spreading stems benefit from support, so you can use a peony ring.

Pairs well with Wild ginger, Sedge, and Black Hero tulip.
