Notes

'Polar Princess' lupine (Lupinus 'Polar Princess') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Ivory white flower spikes bloom from early to late summer and attract bees. Lupines go semi-dormant after blooming, so plant it behind something one foot tall. Cut it back six inches after flowering to encourage new growth and reblooming.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Hairy aster, and Sedge.
