Notes

'Manhattan Lights' lupine (Lupinus 'Manhattan Lights') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Its fragrant purple and yellow flowers open in spring and again in summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Kansas peony, and Dancing Queen hosta.
