Notes

'Pom Pom' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pom Pom') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deep pink Japanese type flowers open in early summer, and the bloom time is mid season. Robert William Tischler bred it in 1972.

Pairs well with Cheerfulness daffodil, Blonde Ambition blue grama, Japanese spirea, and Sedge.
