Notes

'Pontiac' sweet cherry (Prunus avium 'Pontiac') is a columnar tree for food gardens and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. It is grown for eating fresh and opens flowers in early to late spring that attract butterflies and bees. You need a second cherry nearby for fruit, since this tree is not self-fertile.

Pairs well with Mount Hood daffodil, Limelight Prime panicle hydrangea, and Claire de Lune peony.
