Notes

'Posca' peony (Paeonia 'Posca') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The bright pink, semi-double flowers are fragrant and have frilled guard petals, and bees and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Joshua Scholten bred it.

Pairs well with Fire and Ice hosta, Switchgrass, Black Hero tulip, and Quick Fire panicle hydrangea.
