Notes

'Prairie Butterflies' peony (Paeonia 'Prairie Butterflies') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its large, single pink flowers have darker flares and a yellow center. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Bees and butterflies visit the fragrant blooms.

Pairs well with Fire and Ice hosta, Switchgrass, and Black Hero tulip.
