Notes

'Prince' elephant grass (Cenchrus purpureus 'Prince') is a grass for annual beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It grows 48 to 72 inches tall and spreads 36 to 60 inches, so give it plenty of room. The plumes appear in mid autumn.

Pairs well with Lemon Grass lemongrass, Totally Tangerine dahlia, and Gerbera daisy.
