Notes

'Princess Caroline' delphinium (Delphinium elatum 'Princess Caroline') is a perennial for borders and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and stands erect, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Henryi clematis, Coneflower, Willow bell, and Baby's breath.
