Notes

'Princess Margaret' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Princess Margaret') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, full double flowers are dark pink with no blue tones and open in mid spring. Strong stems hold the blooms up well, and the good foliage stays tidy at medium height.

Pairs well with Nepeta, Japanese spirea, Pink Impression tulip, and Royal fern.
