Notes
'Profusion Double Yellow' zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'Profusion Double Yellow') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows fast and blooms from summer into autumn, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Drought tolerance makes it easy to keep.
Pairs well with Soraya sunflower, Snapdragon, and First Knight fountain grass.
